A Letter from a Zera Yisrael: Commentary on Christianity and The Holocaust

His Message:

First of all, Good Shabbos to you, my friend. I went to the Synagogue and it was somehow worse than I thought.

I said it was a reform Temple. I was wrong, it’s actually a messianic temple. Which is basically a church with menorahs. This angers me for many reasons, first off, Messianic Judaism itself is a fallacy. I mean, just count the syllables

Messianic Judaism itself has 8 syllables, Christianity has four. Just call yourself a Christian and stop wasting people’s time. Or better yet, actually embrace the culture and religion that you actually belong to. That has me so heated.

Regardless of the nature of the building, I listened to her story, and she survived on Mercy above all. She was from Hungary, so she and her family were taken in 1944. She never saw her parents again after she got off the cattle car. Her brother was separated from herself and her sister, but they reunited a few months after the war came to an end.  When taken to Auschwitz, she and her sister and many other women were taken to the German city of Essen to work in a factory. They escaped during an Allied air raid because all of their supervisors ran for shelter.

One German soldier had told her that should she try to escape as the war was closing in, he would help her. Thankfully, she was able to find shelter in a bombed out building, and when that German soldier found her, he gave her food. She forgot his name, but apparently his name is on a list of the Righteous Gentiles. Anyway, after the Shoah, she married one of her American liberators and moved here. It was a good story. She had 5 children who live on to carry her legacy. Praise the Lord!

My Response:

Indeed.

It’s good to know that some people did hide Jews from the Nazis. However, some did not do it with a love for the nation of Israel. They did it for other reasons. Those listed on Righteous Among the Gentiles are only those who did not have these bad intentions. This includes those who wrote visas that allowed Jews to enter Spain and East-Asia during the second World War. This includes those who made legal changes on the documents of practicing Jews so they would make them legally identified differently when the Nazis came (while these Jews fully kept their Yiddishkeit). Oskar Schindler did not save the lives of many Jews by having them abandon their faith.

Yes, the M.J. movement is a fallacy. It’s a scam. Protestantism was founded by Martin Luther, a theologian who was against the Roman Catholic Church, but he was extremely Antisemitic. He expected Jews to convert to his non-Catholic form of Christianity. Many of the later Protestant factions would have some qualities similar to Jews, but this was used to promote assimilation. Those same Adventists Christians, who kept the 7th Day (the actual Shabbos), were trying to get rid of the Jews during the Holocaust. The M.J. movement pushes it even further by being even closer to us. Though, ironically (for them), this has caused some Goyim to convert. I know a person born in Mexico. When moved to America, they joined a Seventh Day Adventist. His family became M.J. and eventually became real Jews.

If something is destined to happen, it will happen. HaShem has a way of using our friends and foes as part of the Master Plan. In the case of those who want to weaken if not destroy our nation, they will only grow it in the long-run. Pharoh did not initially believe in the G-d of Israel. But after loosing his Army in the closing of the [splitted] sea, he ended up realizing which side was better. Some people believe that when Jonah spoke to the King of Nineveh (present-day Mosul), it was actually the Pharoh who challenged Moses and lost. He may have lost his political title in Egypt, but ventured to reign elsewhere. Do note that, Jonah’s lifetime was not that far from the time of the exodus, so it makes sense that Pharoh would still be alive then…This Pharoh would eventually become a tool in the Mater Plan. He may have made the voluntariy decision to enslave and oppress the Israelites, he even kept them in captivity when it was time to leave, but he would end up helping the people of Nineveh repent.

Many of the Jews who settled in modern-day Israel were from a time and place where spiritual qualities were not of high value. These European-born Jews didn’t value Yiddishkeit, but today, there are more Yeshivas in Israel than any other country in the history of the world. Even though they had the free will to do the right thing, they didn’t, but the right thing happened anyway. The same is true for America. Many people through away their Yiddishkeit when coming here, but now, America has a plethora of Yeshivas…Everything in the universe leads to Ha-Kadosh Baruch-Hu….In the cases of the worlds wicked villains, Haman, Nazis, and Soviets all wanted to exterminate the Jewish people, but all of them not only failed to do so but indirectly grew the nation. Both are died with no victory. Hitler wanted to exterminate the Jews, but now, we not only have our own Nation-State, we’re growing faster than the generation that survived the Holocaust.

Now, how does this relate to these Protestants that are trying to get rid of us by imitating us? The Hellenists wanted the Israelites to assimilate to Hellenistic-Greek culture. The reistance to this movement would greatly strengthen Yiddishkeit in the Holy Land. This led to the Channukah – re-dedication of the Holy Temple. The fact that they got some people to help the Jewish nation (either as converts or as Noahides) is the opposite of their initial intention. The Roman fighter, Aquila of Sinope, was on the side of the enemy but would then dedeicate his life to helping them when he became the great Onkelos, the student of Rabbi Akiva. The Pagan Romans were on the top at one point, but now, this Pagan culture isn’t valued. Today, the Western-Protestants have become the laughing stock of both the Jewish and Christian media. Even the Catholic Christian bloggers don’t take these MJ’s seriously. Even they acknowledge the MJ’s as Protestants. It’s even noted that these Anti-Jewish Protestants tend to target those of unlearned backgrounds as noted here. When these Western Protestants try to challenge our claim to faith, they are only going to make it stronger in the long-run. At the end of the day, they can’t win over a truly pious Jew.

P.S. Yad L’Achim is an Israeli-Orthodox organization that does counter-missionary work in Israel which includes opposing these missionaries. I once sent you a picture of their ad, but I now found the Website. Hope you enjoy the site. They are worth donating to.
