Hashem Tzevakot

This is the first song that I wrote last year, בחודש שבט, using the pre-existing words from Tehillim with an original melody based on a harmony that expresses a feeling of adventure but also the feelings of uncertainty about the future. Both of these feelings come from the exact same musical pattern because they are inclusive  to each other because going on an adventure means that there is something about the future that one does know about.

This  context of the song is relevant to its emotional structure. It was written the day after the terrorist attack in Neve Yaakov where seven Jewish people were murdered by a young goy. The murdered Jews include a 14 year-old named Asher Natan and a middle-aged married couple who ran to help those who were shot. This was all happening on ליל שבת. Later, during שבת day, two Israelis were shot and murdered by a Non-Jewish 13 year-old in a park in Yerushalayim. I was actually in Neve Yaakov earlier that week, so the news report was more shocking.
