Praise The King and Not His Pawns

There has been an unfortunate trend to worship sociopolitical leaders many of whom are Akum. This is a horrible trend that has no place in a Jewish home. The key examples are Trump and Putin. The latter is a Notzri who is allowing his government to host Assad and Hamas. Such a person is not on the right side of history and morality.

On the other hand, you have Trump – a wealthy person who has a history of being involved with immorality as well as having once promoted the legalization of such vile things.

Praising powerful human leaders, on the merit of their accomplishment(s) albeit little progress, is idolatry, and to say that such people are holy and worthy of respect is akin to a very disgusting form of idolatry.

Yehudim should be thankful that we are able to live in the US and Israel because of the current sociopolitical situation that has allowed for such an existence to occur, but ultimately, we should give thanks to Hashem for that.
