Commentary on Bamidbar 21:17

 ‎אָז יָשִׁיר יִשְׂרָאֵל וגו’ עֲלִי בְאֵר עֱנוּ לָהּ

“Then Israel sang this song: Ascend, O well, sing to it!״ (Bamidbar 21:17) 

The word “עֱנוּ“, which means to sing praises, when spelled with its Miliui (spelling of the letters),
עי“ן נו“ן ו״ו has the numerical value of 248 (number of positive commandments).
